COMMUNITY. AUTHENTICITY. TRADITION.
THE STORY BEHIND TRUEYOGA.
There’s always been something I have been searching for, but I never knew what it was. I realized what I was seeking is within. A vision. A collective. A community. A place where not only myself but all can call home.
This was something that I needed to create.
TrueYoga. has been tugging on me for many many years. It showed up to hold my hand, to guide me, to teach me. It showed me to teach from within.
From that place, I took it on the road and brought TrueYoga. everywhere in many forms.
Now the time has come to land. To have a place to call home.
After TrueYoga. has traveled and searched it’s time to fully arrive in the form of brick and mortar to be seen, felt, experienced and together we will grow.
I have felt many feelings and emotions and have gone through my share of strickening sadness and extreme joy and everything in between but I have never felt this feeling.
Liberation and Empowerment.
My husband had shared with me one morning and said, "Elle, everything you have done on your yoga journey has brought you here, it’s time, it’s all just right."
I agree, however, it not only has been on the mat but off the mat. What I’ve learned on the mat has given me the strength, courage and endurance to not be afraid to see inside.
Not always pretty. But True.
This is my vision come True.
A place where ALL can find within themselves and what peace and strength mean to them. TrueYoga, a place you can call home built on community, authenticity and tradition.
Let’s Begin Within.
In closing, I am deeply grateful for all the teachers who have come before me, on the mat and off the mat.
Teachers, mentors, therapists, friends, families, acquaintances, and those who have walked beside me through thick and thin.
My kids who have been the core of my strength and my husband who has never given up.
And with the most deepest sincerity of gratitude, I’d like to thank Seane Corn. My friend, my teacher, my mentor. I have often said that I don’t know where I would have been if our paths had not crossed. All my love.
I will always be a student of life to continue to grow and to learn.
Let’s learn and grow together, rebuild community, and embrace the wonders of life.
Namaste,
Elle Kaplan
